The PWOCI Graphics Team has been working hard to bring you great publicity items to promote and encourage Bible Study attendance. We realize, however, that it is difficult, if not impossible, to anticipate the needs of every local group, as there are hundreds around the globe. Therefore, we understand that it becomes necessary for local Publicity Chairs to create their own publicity pieces from time to time and we encourage and support this work on the local level.
There is one common mistake we see a lot of, however, and that is logo stretching. The PWOCI logo is a perfect circle. Stretching happens when a user changes the size of the graphic to be larger or smaller, but inadvertently changes the proportion in the process.
In the above examples, the user grabbed the resizing handle on either the bottom or the side. Doing this will alter the graphic in only one dimension, either height or width.
To change the size of the graphic while maintaining its original shape, hold down the shift key and simultaneously grab a corner handle. Using this key combination, you can increase or decrease the size of the graphic without distorting its shape.
Any use of the PWOCI logo should maintain the correct 1:1 ratio of the original graphic. Additionally, any submissions to the website, including downloadable fliers and brochures, are required to display the logo correctly or will not be posted.
